Storyline:
All animals of the savanna have come to witness the birth of the young lion Simba, son of the Lion King Mufasa and his lioness Sarabi. Mufasa proudly holds the heir to the air. One day, he should righteously rule the country and make sure that the “circle of life” is respected. But Mufasa’s evil brother Scar feels cheated out of the throne. In a devious assassination he kills Mufasa and expels Simba. On her own and still green behind her ears, Simba stumbles into an adventure after another. He gets to know the cheeky meerkat Timon and the lovable warthog Pumbaa. The three of them drift away and enjoy life. Only when Simba meets his former playmate Nala, he becomes aware of his responsibility. Together with Nala and his friends, he is getting ready to push Scar and his hyena from the throne.
Disney has succeeded in recent years successfully modernizing beloved classics and making them shine in new splendor. With “The Lion King” one of the greatest animated films of all time gets a makeover in 2019 now donated. As “The Lion King” in 1994 was released, success was hard to stop. The original not only played $ 968.5 million, the wonderful soundtrack of Hans Zimmer with songs by Sir Elton John and Tim Rice also received two Oscars.
